What happens when I delete my account?

Deleting your account from Settings asks for your password, cancels any active subscription, and then removes your data. It happens straight away and there is no undo and no recovery window.

What goes: your account, your properties, your bookings and their messages, reviews, blocked dates, calendars, pricing rules, promo codes, offers and your stored guest records. Your published site stops working.

Download your data first. The export in Settings is the only copy you will get, and afterwards there is nothing for us to send you. Do it before you delete, not after.

Do not delete while guests are booked in. This is the one that causes real harm. Deleting removes the booking records for stays that have not happened yet — the guest has paid, is still arriving, and you no longer have their details or their dates. If you have upcoming stays, honour them first, or at minimum export and write to every guest before you press the button.

Your money is unaffected. Guest payments went to your own Stripe account and never came near ours, so deleting here does not touch your balance, your payouts or your ability to refund. Your Stripe account is separate and you close that with Stripe.

Your obligations do not disappear with the data. If tax or accounting law in your country requires you to keep booking and payment records for a number of years, that duty is yours and it survives deleting an account here. Keep the export somewhere safe.

If you only want to stop paying, cancel the subscription instead. That keeps your data and lets you come back.
