Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Every property gets an address on stayolo.com straight away, and you can point your own domain at it instead once you have one.

Set the custom domain on your property, then add the DNS record it asks for at whoever you bought the domain from. DNS changes are not instant — usually under an hour, occasionally most of a day — and there is nothing to do but wait during that time.

Your original address keeps working. Links you already sent to guests do not break.

Whether it is worth it depends on what you are doing. If you are handing out cards at the property, printing the address in a welcome book, or building something you want to own long term, a domain of your own is the right call and costs about the price of a coffee per year. If you are testing whether direct booking works for you at all, the address we give you is a perfectly good website and nobody has ever refused to book because of a subdomain.

One thing to avoid: do not buy a domain that imitates the platform you came from. Beyond the trademark problem, it makes guests wonder whether they are on a real site.
