What does the listing import miss?

The import brings across the things you wrote: your title, your description, your photos, your amenities, your capacity and bed counts, your location and your house rules. That is usually eighty per cent of a property page.

Some things are missing because we could not read them, and some because we will not copy them.

Your reviews stay where they are. Reviews belong to the platform that collected them and to the guests who wrote them. We do not copy them onto your site. You can gather your own over time.

Your host profile photo and name are not imported. Add them yourself. This is also the single most common reason a publish is refused.

Prices need checking. Listings show prices in ways that do not always survive a copy — seasonal rates, discounts, cleaning fees folded into the nightly rate. Look at your nightly price before you publish and correct it.

Availability is not imported. Your dates come from calendar sync, not from the listing page. Connect the iCal link.

Photography sometimes cannot travel. If a platform arranged and owns your photos, those images may not be yours to republish. Photos you took or paid for are yours.

Treat the import as a fast first draft, not a finished page. Ten minutes of reading it back is the difference between a site that looks imported and one that looks like yours.
