How do I add a booking I took somewhere else?

Use Add offline booking on the bookings page. Enter the guest, the dates and what they are paying you, and it behaves like any other booking: the dates close on your website, and the revenue appears in your figures.

This is what you want for the bookings that never touch a checkout — a returning guest who texts you every spring, a friend of a neighbour, a long stay you negotiated over email, a booking that came through an agency.

No card is charged. Stayolo does not take a payment for an offline booking and does not ask the guest for one. How they pay you — bank transfer, cash, an invoice you raise yourself — is between you and them. The booking here is the record, not the transaction.

Two things worth getting right. Put a real name and email on it if you have them, so the guest lands in your guest list alongside everyone else and your repeat-visit picture stays honest. And enter the actual amount rather than rounding, because this figure feeds the same revenue totals as your card bookings.

If the guest later cancels, cancel the booking here too. An offline booking left standing holds dates you could be selling.
