Why hasn't my calendar updated?
Every connected calendar shows when it last synced. If that time is stale or the calendar shows an error, one of three things is true.
The link expired. This is by far the most common. Platforms rotate their iCal URLs — after a password change, a listing edit, or for no visible reason at all. The old link stops returning anything. Go back to the platform, export the calendar URL again, and paste the fresh one over the old.
The link was copied incompletely. iCal URLs are long and easy to truncate. It should start with http and end in .ics.
The other platform is having a bad day. If the link is current and correct, wait and check again before changing anything.
A calendar that has never synced successfully will also block you from publishing on the Direct plan. That is deliberate — a site taking real money against dates that were never verified is how double bookings happen.
Treat your iCal URL as private. Anyone holding it can read when your property is occupied, which is a description of when it is empty. Do not post it in a forum when asking for help, and do not paste it into an analytics or automation tool you do not control.
