How do I charge more for some dates?
Pricing rules are on the Calendar page, alongside your availability rather than with your property description — which surprises people, but it is the right place, because a rate is a fact about a date.
Set a rule for the dates you want to price differently and it overrides your normal nightly rate for exactly that range. Everything you do not cover keeps the standard price.
The obvious uses are high season, public holidays, a local festival that fills every bed in town, and weekends if your weekends genuinely behave differently from your weekdays.
Two habits that save money:
Set the peak dates once, at the start of the year. The expensive mistake is not pricing too low, it is selling August at April's rate in February because nobody had got round to it. Peak weeks sell earliest, which means they sell before you have thought about them.
Look at what the same dates cost elsewhere. Your listing on a platform carries a price the guest can compare against. A direct site that is more expensive than the platform for the same nights is a strange offer, and guests notice.
Whatever you set here is what a guest is charged at checkout on your own site. It does not change your price on any other platform — those keep their own rates, and you set them there.
